    Who I am

    Hi, I am Abhishek, a financial and legal journalist based in London.

    I have covered financial regulation, financial crime and intellectual property issues in the EU and UK for news agency MLex, owned by LexisNexis. 

    I have reported on prominent decisions from the UK's top court in the Skykick v. Sky trademarks litigation, FRAND disagreements between Xiaomi and Panasonic, Lenovo and Ericsson, the UK-Switzerland Berne Financial Services Agreement and financial crime cases from the Southwark Crown Court.

    Behind me, I have more than ten years of experience as a central bank communication specialist, development journalist and radio journalist in India, and an Erasmus Mundus scholarship from the European Commission.

    I hold a joint Master's in Journalism, Media and Globalisation from Aarhus University and City University of London with a specialisation in Business and Innovation.
